Strange Things
A little of every room: a hand that keeps time, an eye under glass, a mandrake that has had quite enough. The volume to start with.
AN Museum is an imaginary Cabinet of Curiosities where every coloring book opens the door to a new room. Inside, strange and wonderful hand-drawn collections are waiting to be discovered and brought to life with color.
New rooms are waiting to be opened.

Each volume contains 40 original illustrations, imagined and drawn by hand in ink — strange, curious, sometimes unexpected, and always with a hint of humor.
Printed single-sided in a large 8.5 × 8.5 inch format, with a Specimen Register to keep track of your discoveries.
A little of every room: a hand that keeps time, an eye under glass, a mandrake that has had quite enough. The volume to start with.
Magnolias, poppies and peonies folded into mandalas. The formal garden west of the entrance hall, and the volume people colour to calm down.
A festive collection of ornaments, peculiar nutcrackers and Christmas scenes where something always seems slightly out of place. A seasonal exhibition from AN Museum.
AN Museum is made up of many rooms, each home to a different collection. Some are already open to explore. Others are still waiting behind closed doors.
Rooms marked with dotted walls are not open yet — and the staircases lead to parts of the museum still unknown.

Naturalia under glass: strange plants, garden insects and specimens that look almost plausible. The Dispatch goes out the day the doors open, and not before.
Every specimen in AN Museum begins here.
From the first sketch to the final ink lines, each illustration is imagined and drawn by hand.
Step inside the studio and discover how the museum’s collections come to life.
Once an illustration leaves the museum, its story continues in the hands of a collector.

Every restoration is unique.
I’m AN, the illustrator and founder of AN Studio.
I love creating unique and captivating illustrations inspired by botany, surrealism, old curiosities, and a touch of humor. Every drawing is created by hand in ink and comes straight from my imagination.
Over time, these curiosities found a home of their own: AN Museum, my imaginary Cabinet of Curiosities, where I am both the illustrator and the curator.
I hope you enjoy exploring my quirky world as much as I enjoy creating it.
